Reflected backs
Red is a colour of many emotions and symbolic meanings. From the first photograph at the beginning of this project – red has been an underlying element, weaving its way in and out of each chapter, either materially or emotionally. Universally, it speaks of love, anger, marriage, luck, hate and happiness. I began to see it everywhere.
I had found my final chapter.
At the very beginning a red necklace had triggered an emotional chain reaction and now here at the end of this project, these final three Polaroid backs have become a personal representation for all that this colour symbolises.
